Dan LaMorte is a New York City based stand up comedian, comedy writer and podcaster. He has been seen doing panel on FOX's Red Eye, had his stand up featured on NBC Universal's COZI TV, was featured on the 2017 season of AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live, the 2018 season of NextVR’s Live from Gotham Comedy, and in January of 2017 he released his first album "Not Enough Pieces" through On Tour Records. The album got plenty of love on the iTunes comedy charts, it was met with great reviews and a lengthy stay as the number one best selling stand up album. The album remains a popular play on SiriusXM's Raw Dog Channel and has reached over 100,000 streams on Spotify.
Dan is also very active on social media, having what is often described as one of the most consistently funny twitter feeds (@DanLaMorte). Over the years Dan has seen his tweets featured in/on MTV, FOX, CNN, The Los Angeles Times, CNBC, BBC News, People Magazine, BuzzFeed, Uproxx, Junkee, Mashable, FanSided, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, the Hollywood Reporter, Metro UK and many more. His twitter account is also incredibly interactive, he sincerely cares about connecting with those who support him. This led to him creating his podcast, “Breaking the Fourth Wall with Dan LaMorte”, which is a weekly show focused on letting those who follow Dan directly into his world and the world of comedy. It’s been described as a critical thinking, comedy, mental health podcast. Yeah, Dan doesn’t know what that means either.
Dan is a former college baseball player who still spends time in the sports world as a journalist and podcaster. He has covered the New York Mets but is mostly a personality in the UFC and MMA world. He is the host and creator of the popular comedy mixed martial arts “Middle Easy Fight Fist Podcast”. This is a weekly show where Dan and his co-hosts, Luke Touma and Diego Lopez, discuss all the current MMA happenings with monthly fighter interviews. After amassing interviews with some of the worlds best fighters, Dan and the Fight Fist Crew got bumped up to official credentialed members of the MMA Press. This means you can see Dan cageside at many UFC and MMA events on Media Row.
Dan is a popular act on the road, headlining clubs both nationally and internationally. He's a favorite at festivals; having appeared at the Big Sky Comedy Festival, TBS’ New York Comedy Festival, DC Underground Comedy Festival, Skankfest, Gilda's Laugh Fest, Hoboken Comedy Festival and many more. When not on the road, Dan is a regular at the legendary Comedy Cellar in New York City. He also still lives in his parent’s guest room.
